Unidiomatic

@Dodger67: could you please substantiate your saying <quote> "thrice-weekly" is unidiomatic English </quote> ? It is not worth going to war for, but I should think there's better things to do than pick at linguistical subtleties, and I still have to see this one proven wrong. More important, though: though I know Africa only by reputation, I think it is better to stick to feeder Airlines "claiming" three flights per week than mentioning they actually "have" them. @Dodger67: instead of blindly reverting, and taking your personal interpretation of the English language as the one and only valid, would you PLEASE first discuss here? BTW, even on Wikipedia alone there are 412 occurrences of "thrice weekly" or "thrice-weekly" so I am afraid your sense of idiomacy is less than universal, to say the least. Also, you left the article in a rather disorderly state, it now mentions another airline without saying which the first was. Jan olieslagers (talk) 18:07, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

About your

Third Opinion request: I removed your request due to its failure to meet the instructions of the 3O project that,

Before making a request here, be sure that the issue has been thoroughly discussed on the article talk page. 3O is only for assistance in resolving disagreements that have come to a standstill. If no agreement can be reached on the talk page and only two editors are involved, follow the directions below to list the dispute.

Though I've declined the request, let me note that while I have no issue with the term "thrice-weekly" if taken out of context and viewed alone, I do think that Dodger67's construction of the sentence as a whole as shown in this edit is more easily understood by the average English-speaking reader. As far as information about airline services (whether claimed or actually verified) is concerned, I have posted about it on the South Sudan WikiProject talk page because it affects multiple articles. Roger (talk) 21:35, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
