"A suicidal girl has come to realize that her existence is worthless because of her lack of beauty"
The following is merely a point of grammar, not one of philosophy or gender politics. "come to realize" means that the veracity of an objectively verifiable fact has become apparent to her; in this case the fact would be that ugly girls have no reason to live. Now, if whoever really wrote the sentence meant that, fine, I will leave the floor to whoever wishes to take up the gender politics of this position. However, I think the writer only wanted to say that the girl has become convinced that her life is pointless because she is ugly (which is sad, but can be a valid story premiss, I suppose). 2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:E97A:C6FE:54E0:EC6D (talk) 16:37, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
