Jesus Joe? Who might that be? SynthesiseD 23:07, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Sean Rodgers, who plays for carlton and is a bit psycotic" - as a life long Worksop resident, i can honnestly say I don't recognise this person as a famous resident.

  • "Simon Branch, Famous for running like a twat. Would also like to ruin Sam Kirby" - not really famous is he?

Circle Arts

No longer have anything to do with the theatre: Excerpt from an e-mail to me here: "We are calling the place THE WORKSOP REGAL and have got the domain www.regalcentre.org.uk which currently just points towards a page on our main www.youngpotential.org.uk website while we get the time and the knowledge to figure out what to do with it." Copy amended accordingly. TheresaWilson (talk) 08:29, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notable?

Really? Notable? Come on! TheresaWilson (talk) 05:18, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I'll remove both of those, and add a template to source the rest. If they don't get sourced from a reliable source to prove that they come from Worksop and they are notable as per
WP:N, they'll be gone too. --tgheretford (talk) 12:42, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply

I've checked the links & found one or two to be inaccurate: pointing to coincidental names; these I have removed. Several of the footballer's articles make the unreferenced statement: "born in Worksop" with nothing to back it up. while it may be 'common knowledge' that they were born in Worksop, I feel that it could be improved. Also amended a couple of links to bypass disambigs. TheresaWilson (talk) 14:25, 8 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
