What is the point or relevance of the quotes - do we have references for them in the event that they are deemed worthwhile. If no-one responds shortly with a reason to keep them, I plan to delete them. -- SGBailey (talk) 09:26, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete the quotes, I spent a while doing that section. They are relevant as they show the comic nature of the WWA, the thing that its fans loved. As a serious organisation their shows had many faluts, which in the end lead to its failure. I agree with SGBailey. If you want to show that fans loved the WWA because it was funny, the proper way would be to just say that, with a reference to a

reliable source that has already drawn that conclusion. One or two quotes could probably be retained as examples, but with this list, the article is beginning to look like Wikiquote. I would love to be able to put references for the quotes but obviously this is not possible as they were part of the TV broadcasts and no manuscripts of such things exist. Please be assured that these are correct quotes as I only recently watched the shows again. Maybe a comprimise could be to move most of the quotes onto a seperate page, with a link into the main WWA. Possibly; that list would belong on Wikiquote though, not on Wikipedia. As for referencing the quotes, of course, ideally we should have a reference to a specific episode or broadcast date (if you have that information, go ahead and add it – that manuscripts don't exist doesn't mean you can't use the show itself as a reference), but that's not my problem with these quotes. The problem is that they cannot be used to prove that people think the shows were funny. To make that point, we need to find someone outside Wikipedia saying that the shows were considered funny. I still say remove them from Wikipedia, except maybe one or two if they explicitly illustrate the comedic nature of the show. By all means move the rest to Wikiquote, if Wikiquote wants them. -- Jao (talk) 18:31, 15 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Get rid of them already, it's ridiculous. They're badly laid out, brimming with spelling and grammatical errors and not to mention pointless. All wrestling commentary, indeed most commentary contains hyperbole and humour. No-one quotes Sunday Night Heat commentary when Grisham & Matthews started discussing Isaac Yankem while Kane was in the ring. Tony2Times (talk) 13:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The references on page are out of date, one is a link to another Wikipedia page, one is some blog entry. Did this promotion even exist? I have been watching wrestling for 36 years and working in it for 10 years, and never have heard of it.
