the sister city of pamplona is not located in the basque country, it is in navarre, a nationalist maybe changing this.

Merge proposal

The article Aijsu, Yamaguchi is a stub and since the town no longer exists it's unlikely to expand. I think it would make sense to merge the Aijsu article and those of any other towns that have been incorported into Yamaguchi be worked into this article. That way we can eliminate some stubs and hopefully expand this one a bit in the process. Orange43 (talk) 20:07, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia generally keeps articles on former municipalities, and most prefectures have categories of former municipalities. So I'd say do not merge. Fg2 (talk) 11:16, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I concur with Fg2. armagebedar (talk) 04:43, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I took off Mergefrom tag because it is now unnecessary. --Yakuchang....(talk) 10:55, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Removed "Trivia" section

I removed the following text:

"As of January 1, 2006, Yamaguchi, Hikari (both from Yamaguchi Prefecture), and Ichinoseki in Iwate Prefecture are the only cities to be founded for three times."

If the editor who put it in the article could shed some light on what this means, and/or someone can provide a reference, feel free to integrate it back in the article. armagebedar (talk) 04:48, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
