Merge proposal

Because this page doesn't refer to the original song written by Marshall Crenshaw, I think this should be merged into the Owen Paul article. This song as performed by Owen Paul just isn't notable enough to warrant its own page. Reillyignatius (talk) 05:41, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Article now refers to original Crenshaw song with section for the Owen Paul cover. Beatleswhobeachboys (talk) 07:04, 7 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That sentence should be removed (or at least given some context). Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, therefore "recently" shouldn't be used, a year should be used. A citation should be present too. Julianhall (talk) 15:17, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, copy changed and references added. Julianhall (talk) 15:25, 24 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pebble Mill at One

The article for the programme says

One of Pebble Mill At One's more frequently repeated scenes was in 1986 when Marian Foster introduced pop act Owen Paul who was to perform his hit "My Favourite Waste Of Time". He was to mime to a backing track but didn't see his cue to begin, so was seen standing looking into camera while the music played and his recorded voice was heard.

That contradicts what this article says. I would assume that the Pebble Mill article is wrong (why would he stand still for an entire song?!) Can someone clarify?Derekbd (talk) 02:53, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
