The topic may or may not be notable, but it is written like an essay, not cited properly and comes across (at the least) like a synthesis of ideas using original research. Since it makes a lot of claims about "why" so many things happened, it certainly appears to be original research, which is not allowable here. Either the entire article needs a rewrite from a more neutral point of view, or I fear someone will send it to AFD, and in it's current state, I would be inclined to agree based on needing a fundamental rewrite. Something is wrong with this sentence: " for the period 1976-1989, 3.30 dollars2.20 dollars per kilo. For the period 1990-2005 it fell to per kilo. "
