- ... that YouTube channel All Gas No Brakes is influenced by the works of Saturday Night Live cast member Kyle Mooney? Source: A lot of people ask me about my influences, and I guess I always sort of enjoyed different kinds of interview content. Things like Kyle [Mooney’s] interviews are really good.
- ALT1:... that plans to develop a television series based on the YouTube channel All Gas No Brakes began when Eric Wareheim sent a Twitter DM to Andrew Callaghan? Source: I get a Twitter DM from Eric, and I’m literally in the process of drafting and signing the paperwork. Eric’s like, “Yo, man, you want to make a TV show?” And I’m like, “What the fuck? Yes.” He calls me, and is like, “Okay, let’s do this. Let’s get this thing going.”

I would go downtown and hang out with juggalos at West Lake Center and interview them about meth.”

- This is just a comment but I was wondering if other hooks could be proposed here. The hooks proposed above do not appear to have much of an appeal to non-American readers due to a reliance on mentioning names and places that most non-American readers may not be familiar with, although there is some potential with ALT0 (given that SNL is probably at least somewhat well-known outside the US). In the case of ALT0, it may be a good idea to mention exactly how Mooney influenced the YouTube channel (and perhaps mention that it is a YouTube channel), since for international readers the SNL mention or Mooney may not mean much. csdnew09:19, 30 September 2020 (UTC)
- I'll try, but it would be difficult considering that creator's stated intention for the YouTube channel is to capture "true Americana", so almost everything is inherently US-centric. Bait30 Talk 2 me pls? 16:40, 30 September 2020 (UTC)

Source: A lot of the video journalists that I look up to like Louis Theroux, Michael Moore, and various Daily Show correspondents present clear elements of comedy in their work. it’s more fun that way. - That still sounds a bit niche. If you can find a source about the "capturing true Americana" statement and add it to the article, that may actually work well as a hook. Another possibility could be mentioning the creator's hitchhiking past. csdnew02:52, 1 October 2020 (UTC)
