The Little Girl in Blue

The Little Girl in Blue
The Little Girl in Blue

Created by Whispyhistory (talk) and Philafrenzy (talk). Self-nominated at 08:37, 12 November 2023 (UTC). • WP:DYKCOMPLETE we don't promote articles with "unexpanded headers". If a section contains less than a complete paragraph, then it should be merged/combined with another section. The "composition", "Interpretation", "Exhibits", "Ownership and sale", and "Legacy" sections are all too short to be stand alone sections at this point per DYKCOMPLETE. This issue could be solved through the addition of more content under each section or by merging sections to create expanded headers.4meter4 (talk

Thank you. I will go through. Struck hook as it turns out she wasn't a cousin. Will think of a new one. Whispyhistory (talk) 20:56, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
  • ALT1 ... that the mother of The Little Girl in Blue (pictured) didn't think it was a good likeness of her daughter? (the reception section needs expanding with more analysis/criticism of the painting) Philafrenzy (talk) 22:50, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
Thank you.. looks good... will do a bit more work on this. Whispyhistory (talk) 05:08, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
@4meter4: Is ALT1 ready to be approved? If not, what needs to be done to get this nomination approved? Z1720 (talk) 01:58, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
@Z1720 I am still waiting to hear back from Whispyhistory that work is finished, and that a second look is ready to proceed.4meter4 (talk) 02:33, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
@4meter4:... Thank you. Yes, done now, please review. Whispyhistory (talk) 05:29, 25 November 2023 (UTC)
@4meter4: Please see the above. Z1720 (talk) 03:23, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
New reviewer needed unless 4meter4 returns. Z1720 (talk) 18:57, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
I'll review this. @Whispyhistory or Philafrenzy: The first note says "Two of Mahinder Kaur's sisters had married into the Sher-Gil family; one to two of Umrao Singh's sons...". Should that read "one to one of Umrao Singh's sons"? I don't have access to the source. gobonobo + c 21:14, 30 December 2023 (UTC)
One married two sons is correct. I adjusted it in article. Thank you. Whispyhistory (talk) 04:33, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

MOS:N'T applies to hooks, but if so it should be changed to 'did not'. QPQ has been done. The images are freely licensed and the hook image renders very well at a small size. Good work here. I recommend using this in the first slot. gobonobo + c
