- ... that Tiny the Wonder (pictured) could kill 200 an hour in London's rat-baiting pits? Source: "Rat-Catching at the Blue Anchor Tavern, Bunhill Row, Finsbury. A Manchester terrier called Tiny the Wonder is shown attempting to kill 200 rats in under an hour at a tavern in Bunhill Row, Finsbury. He achieved this feat twice, on 28 March 1848 and 27 March 1849, "having on both occasions time to spare". ([1])

Nominated within seven days of creation and meets the length guidelines. Article is neutral with reliable sources cited in every paragraph. Earwigs showed a low chance of a copyright violation and there is no close paraphrasing or plagiarism. Hook is fascinating neutral and cited to a reliable source. I'm returning this nomination from prep because I'm not sure what to do about the whole quote under the Contests section. The reference is self-published and does not explain what the original source, Old Dick x Old Nell, is. Are you able to source this section to a reliable source, or else remove it? - Thank you, Yoninah. That section was added by Aquataste. I have removed the quote in its entirety as extensive searching has turned up no other source for it. For the first part of that section I have added a 1966 Sports Illustrated source which states, "Jemmy Shaw became the doyen of London rat men and, with his friends, the nearest thing to a controlling body of the sport, he introduced the "no-touching" rule". I think we should go with the current version which is stable. The quote above from The Spectator, which I was able to view in full, is extracted from a modern opinion piece about the recherché breeds at Crufts and doesn't say much about Tiny. I have added his pedigree to the article. The other longer quote that was removed from the article was good but its sourcing remains unclear and therefore it is unusable.
