Template:2011 Sendai earthquake and tsunami casualties missing

Gah. How about putting the citation(s) in the working part of the template? The 2011 eq/tsu article is botched from someone doing precisely what the instructions say not to do--updating it without actually fixing the references in the articles. --joe deckertalk to me 00:44, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the template from use in the article until this is resolved. --joe deckertalk to me 00:54, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks to whomever added the cite here, that strikes me as a more robust solution than trying to remember to keep the article and template in sync. --joe deckertalk to me 08:03, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
