1914 America's Cup

There was no 1914 America's Cup, it was postponed by WWI until 1920 when it was finally contested. There should not be a listing for 1914 in this template, as 1) it is listing something that didn't happen, and 2) it destroys the modern common way of referring to AC events by their number, e.g. AC32, AC33, AC34. I would like to remove this entry from the list, but will wait a bit for commentary before doing so.--Paul (talk) 17:43, 6 January 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Hi Paul, Fully agree with your points above. The 1914 postponement can be referenced in the 1920 America's Cup article. Boatman (talk) 21:02, 6 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
