Proposal of the URL Change

When I followed the link generated by this template, the access was redirected another page. So how about changing the template definition to link directly to the final page?

Current: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro/IEntry?ac={{{1}}}
Propose: http://www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro/entry/{{{1}}}

Please use HTTPS for InterPro content link

The purpose of this edit is to provide increased privacy and security for users by having the template generate an HTTPS InterPro content link in place of the current HTTP link. The InterPro content site appears to support HTTPS; for example, see the entry for InterPro IPR002049. In the template, please change http://www.ebi.ac.uk/ to https://www.ebi.ac.uk/ instead. Thanks. --Elegie (talk) 06:23, 14 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Converted to module, added features

See Module:InterPro content and Template:InterPro content/doc. Supports multiple links in a single template call, useful for simplifying long lists like previous version of Laminin. Also supports specified link text, in case editors want more descriptive link text. Please let me know if it can be improved further. Matt Fitzpatrick (talk) 04:55, 4 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
