I changed the style of the template to included the View/Discuss/Edit and Hide/Show buttons on the title bar. I think this is much neater.

Others may prefer to alter the width of the box which is currently set at 80% or the font size set at 90%. --Cheesy Mike 11:28, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestions

I wonder if it would be appropriate to add a History section to the table? Some candidates I can suggest are

Charterhouse Roman Town, Drove Cottage Henge, King John's Hunting Lodge, Axbridge, Priddy Mineries. We might also consider moving Somerset Coal Canal, Cheddar Valley line, East Somerset Railway and Fosse Way to this section as they are more a part of history than current transport.--Derek Andrews (talk) 21:52, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply

I would not object to a history section as described.— Rod talk 07:09, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Change in collapse state

This template has become quite long. In my humble opinion, on most pages where this is the only navbox it is overly large in relationship to the rest of the page. I edited it so that it collapses by default except on the template page. To force expansion use {{Mendip Hills|autocollapse}} or {{Mendip Hills|uncollapse}}. –droll [chat] 22:55, 27 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
