Template creation

This template was created to replace the list of units that existed for a long time on Kilometre and many other SI length unit articles. I thought the list should be either removed or transformed into a template. As I didn't want to remove the list without any discussion, I created the template to carry the list while this is discussed.

I think this list should be made using a template, or it should be removed. I would create the template myself, if I had experience with the MediaWiki template language, but I don't know if this list is really desirable on every length unit article. Should this template appear on the metre article? I think it is not needed there because there is a table with all the information that appears on this template. --Eduardo Habkost (talk) 23:58, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
