who decides which songs are notable? it looks like a stupid section. Silverhammerofmaxwell (talk) 20:37, 20 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Undisputed Attitude segregated into the 'compilation albums' category? It's a cover album, not a compilation - nothing on it (to speak of, if anything) had been previously released. Seems to me it should either be integrated into the main album listing or the category should be renamed to 'cover albums'. While I'm at it, I don't know what Eternal Pyre is exactly, but it's not an ep. Haunting the Chapel is an ep - Eternal Pyre is some kind of 'limited edition album preview video gimmick single' or something. And I'll echo Silverhammerofmaxwell - there may be guidelines for what constitutes a notable song but they are extremely vague and the category in the Slayer template isn't very useful. I find it... questionable... that Slayer, other than Reign in Blood, has had no 'notable songs' - aside from their two most recent albums. This sounds like a lot of criticism but it's just three points. The bulk of the template looks great. 74.162.158.157 (talk) 18:02, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Notable = fanboy POV cruft.... which should be for good

There is an IP that is attempting some contructive editing and he's been reverted several times to a version which includes the fanboy term "notable" ... which is a

vio. I say let the IP try and edit... if there are any blatant goofs they can be repaired later.
