Inclusion requirements

Is there a consensus on which mascots should be included in this list? For example Colonel Reb is included as an "old" mascot for Ole Miss, but should he be included simply because a portion of Ole Miss' fan base clings to him? He's no longer the official mascot.

Also, Arkansas has other mascots like Little Red and Sue E. Pig. And multiple schools have an inflatable mascot that is ususally just used at basketball games.

Anyone have any thoughts about this? Jhortman (talk) 16:22, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am editing this template to reflect all official mascots currently recognized by SEC schools. That should be the criteria for this list. -Jhortman (talk) 07:43, 15 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
