Template:What links here → Template:WhatLinksHere – Since Special:WhatLinksHere is what this is a frontend for, I figure for symmetry, title the template the same, and redirect alternate formattings. I found out the template name didn't match when I went to use it and muscle memory-ed in the Special page name. 47.155.41.201 (talk) 05:15, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- Mild oppose - I empathize with the rationale, but the CamelCase feels worse somehow than the natural phrasing. No objection to the creation of a redirect, though, since I understand the muscle memory concern. -- Netoholic @ 06:31, 8 July 2023 (UTC)]
- Mild oppose move - There's already a Template:WhatLinksHere as a redirect since that seems like it'd satisfy the muscle memory concern with less of a challenge (even if the template was moved, that'd leave a redirect at Template:What links here (unless someone wants to clean up all of the existing uses, which seems like a waste of time), so redirecting one or the other should be functionally identical). - Comment. All the special pages use CamelCase. Glancing at mw:Manual:Special pages, my guess is that it may be a technical restriction based on how the MediaWiki software is currently coded, and how each special page is directly tied to a separate PHP script file. There is no such restriction on template pages. Zzyzx11 (talk) 05:40, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose. Templates should be readable. See ]

BASEPAGENAME
I think defaulting to BASEPAGENAME would be more useful than PAGENAME. jlwoodwa (talk) 03:25, 20 August 2023 (UTC)
