Twin Lakes is a city in Freeborn County, Minnesota, United States, near Albert Lea. The population was 134 at the 2020 census.^[3]

History

Twin Lakes was platted in 1858, and named for pair of lakes near the town site.^[6] The railroad was extended to town in 1878.^[6] A post office was established at Twin Lakes in 1881.^[7]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.551 square miles (1.43 km²), of which 0.487 square miles (1.26 km²) is land and 0.021 square miles (0.05 km²) is water.^[1]
