Keamogetse Kenosi (sometimes referred to as Sadie Keamogetse Kenosi) (born 17 January 1997[1]) is Motswana boxer competing in the featherweight division. She represented Botswana at the 2020 African Boxing Championships She represented Kenya at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia winning a bronze medal thus making her the first Kenyan woman to win a Commonwealth Games medal in boxing
Background and education
Kenosi was born to Kebareng Motlhatlhedi and grew up in Monarch, a suburb of Francistown in Botswana. She attended Goldmine Junior School in Francistown and Naledi Senior Secondary School in Gaborone[2][3] before proceeding to Botho University[1].
Career
Kenosi joined boxing in 2012 at the persuasion of her teacher. She is affiliated to the DTCB Boxing Club in Gaborone[4]
