Activity details

Postcards made by Wikimedians in Thailand

Even if you don't have any experience with Wikipedia, we welcome you to come. For attendees with no experience in editing, the activity is divided into three consecutive tasks:

  • Task 1: Register on Wikipedia and sign your name on this page to get a free Wikipedia sticker
  • Task 2: Complete the Wikipedia Adventure and get a Wikipedia Postcard
  • Task 3: Add at least 5 sentences (with reliable references) to Wikipedia in any language and get a Wikipedia t-shirt or calendar. In case you enjoy editing and want to contribute more, please do so!

For attendees with prior experience in editing Wikipedia, they are not limited to these three tasks. They can contribute by guiding non-experienced participants through the Wikipedia Adventure, teaching them the basics of Wikipedia or how to use the translation tool and the VisualEditor. The to-do-list below is also provided as guidelines.
