Career

She was "discovered" as a model by the magazine Gente in 1980, when she was fourteen years old. She began her career that same summer, appearing on the cover of that magazine.[2] From there, she became an icon of Argentine fashion and showbiz, known for her blonde, beautiful and distinguished look, and was highly sought after for photo shoots and advertisements.[3][4][5] Additionally, she participated in various television programs and series.

In 1996, after being in a coma due to complications from surgery, and facing other health and family issues, she almost completely retired from the entertainment world.[6][7][8]

In 2008, she accepted an invitation to participate in the show "Patinando Por Un Sueño" (Skating for a Dream). However, she did not get to debut in the show as she suffered a tibia fracture, an exposed fibula fracture, and ligament tears during a rehearsal.[9][10]

Personal Life

Raquel Mancini has three brothers.[11] In addition, she had a twin sister who died in childbirth.[12]

She married Martín Seefeld when she was nineteen years old, and five years later, they divorced. Later on, she had a romantic relationship with Alejandro Mascardi, brother of the legendary sports agent Gustavo Mascardi, who is married to the fashionista and socialite Lily Sciorra. [13] She also had a relationship with Fabián Rodríguez, the late ex-husband of Nazarena Vélez.

She had a relationship that lasted eleven years with former

Interior Minister Enrique Nosiglia, which remained a secret for many years.[14]

In 1996, she was in a fourth-degree coma due to complications during a liposuction procedure.[15] A short time later, she underwent surgery on her small intestine for a stress-induced ulcer.[16]

In 2016, she was in a coma for 15 days due to influenza and other complications, recovering miraculously and returning to some television interviews in July on the program "Desayuno con Pamela", hosted by Pamela David.
