I'm a long time computer geek. I've been heavily involved in computers since 1983, starting with my school's

6809 asm, OS-9, and Pascal over the next 5 years, the details of which are now mostly forgotten to make room for C, C++, Perl, PHP

, and more.

Current Internet hobbies include:

RiverWorth Systems: Right now this is nothing but a Linux Wiki and a blog with some thoughts I have on the running of a company.
Background Exposure: A site featuring some of my photgraphy from around the world and a few tidbits of advice/experience.
Debian GNU/Linux: I maintain a few packages for the Debian distribution of Linux. I used to do more (I was actually the release manager for two releases) but my interests have moved on since then.

In 2007, I'm moving to Zurich, Switzerland to work for Google.

From 1999 to 2006, I worked for Precidia Technologies in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada doing embedded software development in C and asm on an 8032, as well as manage my company's network of Linux servers, Linux workstations, and WinXP workstations.

From 1996 to 1999, I founded the company Verisim (no relation to the company that now has the verisim.com domain) with some friends writing very-large multi-player network games. We got bought out and then closed down when our new parent company ran out of money.

I could go back further, but won't. I will add that I graduated from Electrical & Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
