  • 1713 - The Estaughs build a brick mansion on what is now Wood Lane in Haddonfield.


  • 1721 - First Quaker meetinghouse is erected on land deeded by John Haddon.


  • 1762 - Elizabeth Haddon dies.


  • 1764 - The volunteer Friendship Fire Co., now known as Haddon Fire Co. No. 1, is formed.



  • 1778 - British troops march through Haddonfield on the way to what would become the Battle of Monmouth.
