Sorry this has taken longer than it should take! I saw your message at the guidelines' talk page. How do you think talk page etiquette is interfering with revising the draft? I just think that while there may be some opinions about why parts don't work, there are not any clear-cut suggestions about how it could be written. I've avoided this possible solution partially since you authored most of this part, but do you think we could avoid the stage breakdown in this particular draft and just link to filmmaking? Seems like there is a bit of a tiff about what activities fall under what stage. We could remove mention of the stages and just string off the various activities in rough chronological order. For example, acquiring rights, writing the script, receiving a budget, hiring of cast and crew, location scouting, filming, editing, musical scoring, and visual effects. And ask to add noteworthy events such as delays, reshoots, financial problems, etc. What do you think? —Erik (talk • contrib) 17:21, 4 January 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. My idea was to encourage the other editors to directly modify the (soon-to-be) famous paragraph, instead of having you (or me) act as interpreters. The paragraph that you've been modifying already could serve that purpose; it's just that most of us don't usually modify talk pages as if they were wikis! Shall I transfer the paragraph in it's present state to user:Easchiff/Sandbox2, or some other good place? We can then try to finalize it there, instead of in the original article. Thanks for working on this, and I agree that the current reference is a clumsy one. When I used your link above, it gave that same "session timed out" result that you got yesterday. I haven't found a good solution to this yet; the Academy site is not very usable for archival purposes. removal of "advert" tag (I agree completely)

In reference to this change that you made, to the article WebCite: (Removed "advertising" tag. Please discuss on talk page before re-tagging.), I agree completely. I was the one who made the previous edit, (right before yours), and although I had not been familiar with that article before, today it did strike me as a bit strange -- I was wondering how [how egregiously] an article about a free service could possibly have the "tone" of an advert.

I've removed the notability tag, I think she does "squeak" in, but more references are needed for the information given in the article. The article does need more work, but could be quick to at least a C class. Conversation poems

I can put together the background sections for the poems if you put together some of the rest. How does that sound? And should there be one main page discussing the conversation poems as a whole as per The Lucy poems and pages like that? By the way, I'm referring to creating new pages for the individual poems. If you only want to work on the section in the bio, that is fine and I will perform all of the work on the poems. If you just want to help out a little on making the new pages, that is fine to. I started a user space section here and I am going to incorporate my sources and expand on the series as a whole at that page and then the individual poems on their own pages. I hope to create about 10k worth of content for the individual poems and create about 25k for the set page. I intend to add a background section about Coleridge's biography and purpose at the time (who he is "conversing" with and what inspired the poems), then have a section on the grouping, then brief summaries of the poems and their content, and then a section on general themes and general response to the series in terms of quality. It would be similar to The Lucy poems page and some others that I have worked on. After I get some of the bulk down, I will definitely want your help and opinion. I think Stoutenburg is correct. The reason that it was misspelled on the James Laughlin Award webpage is that the Poetry Foundation misspelled it on their webpage, and I'd just copied that listing blindly. Question about the Gehry/Novartis building photo

Hello, Easchiff. I was just wondering if you have any reasoning for this edit. The reason I ask is: I recently inquired about {{Unbulleted list}} (as compared to <br />) to Jack Merridew, a user familiar with such things. His answer was:

Hmmm. I have been taking the lead from Template:Infobox_film/doc, and just copying that over to the Actors & Filmmakers page. I have not developed a critical opinion myself. I suspect you know more about this than I do, but apparently the argument about unbulleted lists raged (I hope in an unbulleted fashion) at Template_talk:Infobox_film#Problem_with_Unbulleted_list_template. No, actually, I have not developed a critical opinion, either (mainly because I do not understand the technical differences between the two options). Film director and editor collaboration: Proposed Addition

Hi, Easchiff. Maybe you remember me as the Wikipedia user that caused you troubles in the List of film director and editor collaborations page. Well, first I want to apollogize for that and I hope I haven't create you serious complications.

I appreciate also my addings that you consider suitable. And about that, I was wondering if you there's any possibility of including the Werner Herzog/Joe Bini collaboration again. As current editor for Herzog's films, I think the work that Bini has done it's important. Maybe Grizzly Man couldn't be the best expample of it, but what about Encounters at the End of the World? The documentary received an Oscar nomination, therefore it has to mean something, I guess.

However, I believe that T.S. Eliot, Sylvia Plath and the poems The Second Coming (poem), Howl and Other Poems, The Cantos, The Waste Land, Pomes Penyeach, Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, Lady Lazarus, Tulips (poem), Ariel (poem). most dont have any quotes, the rest have partial quotes of whole poems, and Pablo Neruda's page has a quote of a complete poem, "curse" (i have inquired on that page about whether that is a copyright violation) . Fire and Ice (poem) doesnt say it in the article, but wikisource says its in the public domain, and thus can be quoted in its entirety. Philip larkin has multiple quotations of complete short poems, and again, i have inquired there as to whether that is acceptable. I think my edit was correct, but i see some ambiguity right now in interpretation, so i wont revert your good faith reversion of my edit, until we hear from someone else about this. i may post a specific question at a forum somewhere, but not yet.
