In general, blogs aren't considered
reliable sources, though since this one seems to come from Consumer Reports (am I reading that right?), it might be an exception to that. But your cited Consumerist source does not exist, and I couldn't find it by searching the archive myself, either. In addition to that, I'm not convinced that this is of encyclopedic importance- unless there's more to it than you wrote, it doesn't seem to be significant to the history or importance of Dragon Con. I could, however, be wrong, and please feel free to get consensus at Talk:Dragon Con that it ought to be in there after all. There are (I am sure) lots of people watching that article who know far more about it than I do. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs

Ah! Thanks very much for the corrected link. I'm afraid I still don't think that's an event important enough to warrant inclusion in an encyclopedia article- at an event the size of Dragon Con, this seems to me like a fairly minor disagreement, rather like adding to the article on
consensus on the talk page agrees with you after discussion, then in it goes. I'm not the Boss of Wikipedia, just a fellow editor disagreeing with you, and that happens all the time around here and is half the fun. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs

FisherQueen, when I was a new user and didn't know how Wikipedia worked I made various mistakes (who didn't?) and you were very helpful in putting me on the right lines. That was several years ago now, but I am still grateful. Actually come to think of it "still" is the wrong word: at the time I was not grateful, because I didn't understand what you were doing and thought you were being obstructive, but as time went on I came to understand, and remembering your comments contributed to my developing grasp of how Wikipedia functions. Because of this I thought the prospect of your leaving Wikipedia, and more especially of leaving new-user patrolling, was a bad one. Well, "welcome back" is really all that I am saying, but I though you might like to know I have my own reasons for saying it.

Yes. I was one of their "victims". Actually, while I too am rather critical of what they did, I don't think they were anything like as bad as you evidently think. Maybe some time I will spend the time writing up my thoughts, and if so maybe you would be interested in reading them. Or maybe you wouldn't.

Updates to Grupo Modelo

Hi, I wish to understand what's wrong with my last update...

The reverted information about Grupo Modelo is wrong: there are not any Cisneros nor gomez in Grupo Modelo's history. Thats the only change I made in the last update, in fact, I've maked some reference to other wiki article to bring a reliable source, as you can find in the article of María Asunción Arambuluzabala (Grand daughter of Felix aramburuzabala, one of Grupo Modelo's founders)

I understand that Wikipedia is not intended to promote our brands but I think that is really important ensure that the information is accurate and true.

If you know the reliable source of that information about Cisneros and Gómez, please tell me how to find it in order to make the corrections.

It is like if I said that wikipedia was created in 1980 by Napoleon... If i find that information in wiki, I'll think that it's real but it isn't...

I just changed that "Alonso Gomez and Federico Cisneros" founded this Group... because the correct information is that it was founded by Pablo Diez and Felix Aramburuzabala... Is it possible to kept that change? --> Grupo Modelo, was founded in 1925 by a group of businessmen, including Don Pablo Díez Fernández — who became the company's President, CEO and major stockholder — and Felix Aramburuzabala.

H2O Audio

Hello there! You just recently deleted my article on H2O Audio, claiming that it doesn't meet the requirements for notability...however I beg to differ. H2O Audio are the only ones who make a dive case so I can now watch movies at decompression stops while diving, nobody else makes a case with controls that goes beyond more than 10-15 ft. Therefore, I consider this notable. Also, in doing research I found that they'd also pioneered the technology of using a hardware wheel that can conduct the electricity from your body (in this case your finger) and pass it to a touch sensitive control, therefore making ipod scroll wheels work underwater...I find that both encyclopedic and notable, and found verification for it...may I ask why you deleted the article? And what can I change to keep it from being deleted in the future so this technical information can be available to other water sports enthusiasts? Thank you for your time. There's no feature to 'friend' people on Wikipedia, but lots of people have friendly social connections in an informal way, by adding other users to their watchlist. No, that isn't it either. How about... it's okay to be a n00b, for a while. At the top of each page, among several tabs, is a tab that says 'watch.' Click it to watch any page. Along the top of every page is 'my watchlist.' Click that, and you can see all recent changes to the pages you're watching. Post-It notes/ Sticky notes article

You're perfectly correct, a redirect does make more sense. What I was attempting was to npov "Post-It Notes" away from being about post-it brand notes, and transfer the article to "Sticky notes", the generic term.
