Varun Saranga is a
In 2015 Saranga was invited to participate in the Canadian Film Centre's year-long Actor's Workshop.[3]
Saranga was added as a recurring character to Wynnona Earp, in season two.[4][5] The show is celebrated for creating gay characters whose gender preference is incidental.[6] Saranga's character, Jeremy, is gay.[7]
The drama Burden of Truth's 2019 second season revolves around Kristin Kreuk's character, Joanna's new client, a hacktivist who has learned dangerous secrets, played by Saranga.[8]

It is this loving, and respectable depiction of this lesbian couple and later, that of Jeremy (Varun Saranga) and Robin (Justin Kelly) that makes 'Wynonna Earp' a show the LGBT community has accepted as their own.
