Since I got to know Oshaandja, it has been a village, were people act in whatever way they feel like to. People do unnecessary killings, fighting, conflicts, witchcraft and many other silly things. Apart from all the evil things these community practice, one of our hero, Honorable Aram Martin was born there and he is the council of the Oshakati west constituency. He tried all his best to supply his home village with water and electricity. There is a school located near this village called Oshihenge Combined where most of the village children get their education. So, Oshaandja is a never boring village I have ever seen in Uukwambi.
