"I am ecstatic about finally having my music out there for the world to enjoy and making the video was SO much fun. The concept, obviously, isn't incredibly hard to decipher. I haven't come across very many relationships where at least one of the people involved isn't totally pissed off about the outcome. This song is for those people. Sometimes, you just need a song to help you blow off a little steam, you know?"

— Frey on the concept of the song.[1]
