Ojo oluwaferanmi david (born 07 August 2001), known professionally as Phero pizle (sometimes stylized as Phero), is a Nigerian singer and songwriter that started making music right from a tender age, he hails from Osun state and was raised in Ibadan. Phero pizzle started as a rapper in junior secodary school . He is one of the few new generation musicians gaining attention and a fresh buzz worldwide.
Life and music career
2014–2017: Early life and career beginnings
Staring his career in early 2015,he released his first single titled “JANDED” prod by MarTee
2017–2019:
For two years phero stayed underground as a SoundCloud artist gaining attention and listeners on the platform.
In 2017,Phero released his sophomore single “OWO” (money) which gained rapid attention among the fans and this brought him into limelight. At the age of 16, he furthered his education in the university hereby taking a break from music. 2019 he released his third single LYF which gained international recognition especially in the Arab gulf. His songs were frequently played in Lebanon and other Arab countries. This was after he caught the attention of top Arab DIsc jokey “Deejay crow”
2019–2020:
Late 2019, Pheropizzle released his debut EP in collaboration with MarTee his producer. The EP which was endorsed by popular Nigerian Artist “Naira Marley” and had international collaborations with Arabian gulf DJ crow. The EP topped many monthly playlist and was rapidly accepted all over the country. He recently released his first single in the year 2020 “JIGGLE BOUNCE” which comes with an Afrofusion vibe.Pheropizzle is currently one of the leading and emerging Afrofusion artists in Nigeria. Popular known as “JUJU MAN ON DECK” due to his somewhat charming and enigmatic lyrics, he is one to watch out for.
Personal life
Phero was born in Ibadan, Oyo to a renowed family, the third of four children to his parents . He attended Nickdel private school in Ibadan then he proceeded to Nickdel college for his junior secondary school and completed his senior secondary school in Valencia college , he is currently studying Law in Bowen University,Iwo.
