History

Vision Express is a joint venture between GrandVision and Reliance Retail. GrandVision is a global leader in optical retail. With over 6,500 stores, GrandVision is present in 44 countries across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia. Reliance Retail Limited (RRL), a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, is a multi-format retailer, which operates more than 3,300 stores across 679 cities in the country. Vision Express has more than 150 stores across 30 cities in India^[2] primarily in the Northern, Western and Southern regions. In its 9+ years of presence in the country, Vision Express India has touched over a million lives and provided eye care expertise through skilled optometrists and a European certified, comprehensive, 6 step eye test^[3].

Vision Express has more than 150 stores across 30 cities in India which includes Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Pune, Nagpur and Jaipur^[4]. Apart from these major cities, Vision express is also present in Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode in Kerala; Mangalore, Mysore and Gulbarga in Karnataka; Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Jamnagar, Anand and Vapi in Gujarat; Coimbatore and Salem in Tamilnadu; and Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.
