AJ currently lives in
YouTube Community
In 2007, AJ became a proud member of the YouTube community. He first became a devoted follower of Hank Green and his brother John Green. Since then, AJ has began following and participating in many online communities. Most notable of these is the community of daily vloggers. Shay Carl, Charles Trippy and Ray William Johnson are just a few of the many daily vloggers watched by AJ and many others on a daily basis.
Vlogging Project 1.0
Starting in Auguest of 2009, AJ started an irregular vlogging project. He would post 3-7 minute videos every few weeks in an attempt to share his thoughts and ideas to a large audience. At first, the project started as a way for AJ to start out on YouTube and hopefully branch into some other areas; but quickly AJ began to pick up a very small group of people who couldn't wait to see the next vlog.
The Apple Video
The most viewed video AJ has ever made is entitles "How To Break An Apple With Your Finger", more commonly known as "The Apple Video". In the video, AJ responded to a Flash Wednesday video by Cory Williams in which Cory showed that an apple could be broken in half using only a finger and a fist. He replicated the situation that Cory explained to shocking results. The video has since received over 25,000 hits.
Breaking Ohio, AJ Barnett Music and IMHO
In April of 2010, AJ announced and began a daily vlogging project titled "Breaking Ohio". The project's intent was to share AJ's daily life with his YouTube audience. With no explanation, the project stopped after only four vlogs. There has been no indication on the reason for this, nor has AJ released a video to explain it; so we're going to have to wait and see what happens.
AJ also released a channel devoted to his musical creations. He released a five track instrumental EP in both video and instrumental form, but no further videos have been posted. Again, now news on the development of this channel.
