Thank you very much for pointing out the discrepancy in the Wordle article. I went digging and saw that the "2,309" number was in fact originally 2,315, which was backed by sources, but was changed in Special:Diff/1100248946 after the NYT removed a few words from the list, though without a source. I agree that it is currently problematic but am not sure how best to fix it - it's probably outdated now, anyway, since the NYT now has a proper Wordle editor picking words manually... maybe just "around 2300" like the source says and add something in the history section about it now being curated/originally being random? eviolite (talk) 03:34, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
