Thank you for pointing out the contradiction in the article Breton horse; I think the same edit that introduced it may have introduced some other problems. I've posted to a specialized editors' group at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Equine#Breton contradiction. They may well be able to help.

In more general information, to edit the lede (the first section of an article), you click on the edit tab, at the top of the page, left of the search bar (the links to individual sections just edit that section, as you noticed). The nearby "View history" tab will also show you a list of past edits, useful when some of them are wrong and need to be reverted. Way off to the left, the "Talk" tab has a page for discussing article content (you'll note I've cross-posted there, at Talk:Breton horse). In any article's "Talk" tab, typing {{help me}} (along with a description of the help you need) will get you a response from a real person, usually within a day or two. Posting at the WP:Teahouse will get help even faster. Again, thank you very much for pointing out this error rather than just ignoring it. I hope it will be fixed soon!
