Navboxes

Generally navboxes like {{Queensland}} are used to relate an article to other articles to which it is similar, e.g. suburbs in the same local governemnt area. Generally if an article isn't listed in a navbox, it probably isn't appropriate to add that navbix to that article. An appropriate navbox for a politician article might list others who were serving in the same parliament or held the same seat. Kerry (talk) 07:50, 1 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Who are the 84%?

I'm missing a cultural reference somewhere. Climbing mount Googlantua, I see that 84% of French people are opposed to daylight savings time. Are you this 84%? Trying to deflate the rhetoric on the Wikileaks page is a noble goal, but seeing just how many unblockables are showing up to stuff "conspiracy theories" into every sentence, ... well, you get the picture. So who are the 84% anyway? :) SashiRolls t · c 04:46, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I wish I had a better answer, however there's zero meaning behind the username. Sorry to let you down like this. I might create a post hoc symbolisation and get back to you. 84percent (talk) 05:56, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please delete or

strike your statement saying "barely semi-significant person". You are right to oppose but I don't think it is fair to say this about a notable athlete with two Olympic medals. --- Coffeeandcrumbs 23:31, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply

Hey bud. Here are some of the discretionary sanctions applicable on that

  • You must not make more than one revert per 24 hours to this article.
  • If an edit you make is reverted you must discuss on the talk page and wait 24 hours before reinstating your edit.

I didn't see a whole lot of discussion on talk page when you reinstated your edit here, which again casts doubt on reliable sources. I suggest a self revert rather than an arbitration enforcement request. PeterTheFourth (talk) 02:10, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@PeterTheFourth: Thank you for the courtesy. I wasn't aware of the sanctions; I'll be sure to check next time. Will go ahead and revert myself. Have a nice weekend! 84percent (talk) 02:12, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
84percent, by what name did you used to edit by? --Kolya Butternut (talk) 02:36, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Kolya Butternut: Only this one... What are you accusing me of and why? 84percent (talk) 03:43, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Assuming you're an experienced user is not an accusation. My question wasn't clear though, I also meant to ask if you'd edited anonymously. Kolya Butternut (talk) 05:02, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Kolya Butternut: Um, you asserted that I used to edit under a different name/account. Have I edited anonymously? Yeah, a few times, and I vaguely remember vandalizing a sentence or two while in secondary education, over a decade ago. I haven't made any anonymous edits within the last seven years to my recollection. Why do you ask? 84percent (talk) 05:09, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
User:Flyer22 Reborn might be able to explain it better than I could. Kolya Butternut (talk) 05:16, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply
]
@Kolya Butternut: You are the person who inserted themselves into my talk page for abrupt and awkward questioning, so you are best positioned to explain your own intentions. It is strange to defer to an uninvolved third party to explain your own actions. What do you want? 84percent (talk) 05:29, 4 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@
Flyer22 Reborn:, welcome. As Kolya Butternut has gone unresponsive, could you please do me a favour and explain why you're being asked to illustrate their intentions on their behalf? For the record, I'm a relatively inexperienced editor and I find this odd. 84percent (talk) 12:47, 5 May 2019 (UTC)[reply

Elongate article

Hello User:84percent, I'm reaching out because you're listed as a contributor to the Cryptocurrency WikiProject. I am trying to get a draft published in the Cryptocurrency domain, but it's a bit difficult as the reviewers seem to have an opposition to the topic of crypto as a whole. Meanwhile there are other topics published with significantly less notability. As you are knowledgeable on the subject, could you please look at the draft and let me know if you can assist? Thank you! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Elongate_(cryptocurrency)
