Maru-sha
Maru-sha's first work as a writer consisted mostly of fan fiction on
It became a folklore on what gender this Maru-sha was. The name was pretty much unisex. Since Maru wrote many comical stories with plotlines both boys and girls liked, it was hard to tell. But to make it clear once and for all, Maru-sha is a girl.

Unlikely Angel
This was the first original story written by Maru-sha. UA (Unlikely Angel) was made after she had her first encounter with the writer HaleyBrimley via the internet. HaleyBrimley opened her to a new world of original works written by
Chapter one was produced.
After showing HaleyBrimley the first chapter, he was very impressed and was also flattered; one of the key main characters was named Haley. Maru-sha said without him, this series wouldn't have been written. HaleyBrimley added in his two-cents and helped in naming the story.
Unlikely Angel was born.
Plotline
The story of UA can be seen as a
At the beginning of the book, the reader sees a pair of angels having a talk. But then you realize it's not a normal talk. An older angel is scolding a much smaller and younger one about stepping out of the boundaries of Heaven and into Hell. The tiny angel shivers with worry on what her punishment will be. Nanasei, the older angel says that the punishment is banishment from Heaven until the child can prove herself worthy of going back.
The now banned angel is the main character, Serenity. The story is comedic and full of twists that even Maru-sha didn't expect herself to write.
Characters
Serenity - a nine year old girl trying to re-earn her angel wings. Most of the time she is a pure ball of energy and annoys her guardian Haley to the brink of insanity. Due to her small intention span, when she went to take a test to get her into an elementary school, she filled the answer sheet with out looking at the book. She was put into high school the next day.
Haley Amakoi - The angel's guardian. He is an anti-social romance writer who is very popular for his books, adding more reason for him not to leave his home normally. Insult to , Haley is twenty-four years old and is a virgin.
Hiro Amakoi - Haley's younger brother. Unlike his older bro, Hiro is a fun-loving person who is a master of odd-jobs. In the story he's been seen working as a bodyguard, a photographer, stuffed animal maker, pharmacist, professional baby-sitter and
Lalikin Shiotora - Lai for short, is a student at Shingden high school where Serenity was placed. She is slightly air-headed and rides her bicyle on fences, rooftops and power lines. Lai has a deep love for Serenity and tries to score with her often and always fails. Poor Serenity is oblivious to it and sees Lai as her best friend.
Anoka Mitsubibi - Yes, that's his real last name. Anoka is sarcastic and smart-mouthed. He picks on Serenity, but acts as her protector from Lai, knowing what she'd what to do with the small child. He excels in math and barely keeps up in English classes.
Mr. Kay - The English teacher from America. Due to the school's science and Gym teachers running of to elope, he takes charge of mostly every class either as the supposed teacher or the temporary sub. He is the very example of what Japanese think of some Americans. He is loud, very tall, and has long blonde hair and blue eyes.
Ryu - The main antagonist of the story. He is literally the devil in the novel, but isn't portrayed as how society think of him. First of, he's not ugly in any way. He appears flawless and very handsome. On normal days of ruling oblivion, he wears a sharp business suit and his long hair is left not tied back. The writer made him this way since usually ugliness is ran far away from and not given a second chance in normal society. If someone is pleasing to look at, you'll stay around to see what they have to tell you, right?
Aki - Ryu's hardcore minion. She is a nine-year old masochist and the reason she died is left at the reader's own imagination. I mean, how many pain-loving nine-year olds do you know? She is completely in love with Ryu and will do anything he asks of her. Her only reward she begs for is that Ryu will "Take her body" after she has completed whatever carnage he told her to do. Ryu always turns her offer down (then stomps it flat). Besides, every task she sets out to do, she fails at it. This leads to her banishment later in the novel. Her only comment on how Earth compares to Hell is, "The only thing different is that it's not as hot!"

This series was a brainchild of Maru-sha's for quite sometime. She was inspired by

Throughout the story, Mint maintains her, often catastrophic, maid duties while remaining to keep her gender a secret to Mr. Oban. However, later in the series, she becomes the victim of a powerful poison that causes her to become a fully grown eighteen year old on the nights of a clear full moon.
The story is basically a reverse harem with no full plot in sight as of yet. It was last updated on October 3, 2007.

Akatsuki Daze
Akatsuki Daze is a slowly becoming popular fan fiction that revolves around the Akatsuki[1][dubious ] team from the widely popular anime series "Naruto". Written by the fan fiction and original story creator Maru-sha, the story's first chapter was posted September 22, 2008 on deviantArt.[2][dubious ] Akatsuki Daze can be seen as a parody or crack-fic due to the humorous situations and it's play on many other Akatsuki fan-based material that can be found on the internet.
Characters
Leader/Pein - ペイン
Origin: Amegakure village
The indirect leader of the band of S-class criminals. In Akatsuki Daze, his form stays hidden in the shadows just how it did before Pein was fully revealed in the original Naruto manga and anime. This form is also popularly used in fan flashes found all over the internet. Seems irritated no matter what the situation, unless Konan is with him. The two share a 'supposedly secret' love for each other that ironically all Akatsuki members can hear in the late hours of the night. He forbids any Yaoi activities during the supposed work hours of the team.
Konan - 小南
Origin: Amegakure village
Appears for the first time in chapter eleven. Known to everyone but Maru, she is Pein's second in command and also his lover. Master of paper and all it's properties. From coating her skin with a paper thin armor, to using paper as origami to make her fly, her abilities are as limited as her imagination. Her fan-based nick name is Angel since Pein is considered God of the new world.
Origin: Kirigakure village (former). Seven Swordsman of the Mist[3] (former).
Referred to as fish-face and 'Emergency food', Kisame's role in Akatsuki Daze is always being at Itachi's side. The nickname 'Emergency food' came from Secretsheik's fan-fiction called "Akatsuki Asks!"[4] when Kisame's 'true purpose' for being in the Akatsuki was brought up.
One of the members with a personal vendetta of revenge for Maru. His reason is due to her appetite of dried shark fins, a snack that is made from cutting fins off of live sharks and tossing their bodies back into the ocean. Unable to swim, the sharks sink and end up dying from starvation. Being half shark himself, Kisame takes complete offense to Maru eating snacks that are made from such cruelty.
Nanako
Origin: Unknown
Nanako is a stray kitten found by Tobi and Maru during one of their missions. Pein has a rule that no pets are allowed in the Akatsuki, so thus she is taken in only to be fed. The kitten remains an outdoor pet and even though she was found by Tobi, Itachi is the one who cares for her. She bites Kisame on occasion, thinking he is fish.
Itachi Uchiha - うちはイタチ
Origin: Uchiha Clan (former).
In Akatsuki Daze, Itachi is slowly losing his ability to see, yet he can see things up close perfectly. His near blindness is a pardoy picked up from Omnistrife's "Fun with Akatsuki" flash series that can be found via YouTube. He takes care of Nanako in Akatsuki Daze and seems to have a kitten-complex, holding her whenever he can and is rumored to be a nekophile. He uses the Sharingan that the rest of the Uchiha clan were known for before their mass murder.
Origin: Unknown yet presumed to be from Kusagakure.
The spy of the Akatsuki who is slowly building feelings for the new member, Maru. He is a cannibal and is never alone due to his dual personalities. A vital adversary to the band of villains. Without him, they would receive no warning if they were soon to be ambushed.
Maru/Inner Maru - 丸
Origin: Otogakure village (former). Yaoi romance novelist.
The 'newbie' of the Akatsuki. Her sempai is Tobi, much to her disdain. She only knows two forms of very minor Jutsu and seems to have forgotten the ones her father, Orochimaru, taught her as a child. Her partner in Otogakure was Kabuto Yakushi and is said to be his equal when it comes down to speed and is best at close range fights using techniques thought to be Southern Praying Mantis style. Due to unknown trauma, she has a split personality who portrays her evil side. Thanks to this, her and Zetsu are quite compatible.
Origin: Takigakure village (former). Bounty hunter.
The teams money handler and hoarder. Reluctantly fights along side his partner Hidan. Always looking for ways to save and make money, even if it means blackmailing fellow Akatsuki teammates. Much to his dismay, his tentacle-like threads are useful for sewing clothes and reattaching limbs and he is the unofficial seamstress and doctor for the Akatsuki.
Hidan - 飛段
Origin: Yugakure village (former). Jashinist.
The loud, swearing, Jashin-praising member of the team. In the fan fiction, he is considered a pervert and lets out many snarky and crass words. He has a lust for the newest member Maru and tries everything in his power to have her. He has a supposed relationship with Kakuzu, who cares not whoever Hidan wants to 'have' or disembowel.
Tobi/Madara Uchiha - トビ/うちはマダラ
Origin: Uchiha Clan (leader, former, ender).
Adorns his alter ego and becomes Maru's idiot sempai. He is really Madara Uchiha in disguise and secretly runs the Akatsuki along side Leader and Konan. At one point, Maru asked Leader what Tobi was in the Akatsuki for; his reply was "Because he's a good boy". Oddly, she was satisfied with that answer.
Karla
Origin: Unknown. The Akatsuki's obligatory lolicon.
Little is known about this tiny ninja so far. She appears to be a victim of burns since her arms, legs and even her middle torso are wrapped in bandages on a daily basis. It's hinted that she'll fall apart if they are removed without care and it is unsure if that's a figure of speech or the truth.
Origin: Iwagakure village (former). Terrorist for hire.
The insane pyrotechnic artist who always ends his statements with 'un'. In Akatsuki Daze, he takes on a more Uke-like appeal whenever he's with Sasori. He's been known to make the mouths on his hands give him 'release'.
Sasori - サソリ
Origin: Sunagakure village (former). Puppet master.
The cold-hearted wooden figure. Has a grudge and personal vendetta on Maru due to her humiliating him shortly after her arrival into the Akatsuki team. His poisons are tested on other members of the band of criminals, but he seems to know the first batch will fail and not cause death. For some odd reason, Karla thinks of him as a tou-san (father).
Sasuke Uchiha - うちはサスケ
Origin: Otogakure village (currently).
Breifly seen in the series when Maru returned to Sound Village to sever ties with Orochimaru. He was seen in a maid's dress and kitty ears. Orochimaru claimed to have made the garment himself.
Orochimaru - 大蛇丸
Origin: Otogakure village (founder, leader).
Snake featured leader and founder of Sound Village. The estranged father of Maru and mentor to Kabuto.
Origin: Otogakure village.
Orochimaru's right hand man. In Akatsuki Daze, he finds himself protecting Orochimaru from Maru's attack. As children, Kabuto and Maru trained together and became a team all their own, preforming missions Orochimaru commanded from them. Now he is the ever obedient and loyal man to his mentor.
