Hi,

Flyer22. It was particularly the proposed meaning "arriving at man's estate" that bothered me, with "one arrived at puberty" seeming plausible given the meaning "a youth of eighteen who underwent his dokimasia and was registered as a citizen (Athens)" which is possibly covered by ephebos which was linked earlier. It was not obvious that any of the other links or references in the section would corroborate the wide distribution of possible meanings.
