I didn't see the earlier PROD that had been removed (which would disqualify the article for a PROD deletion). However, I have removed the PROD for a different reason, discussed on the article talk page. The theory, unsubstantiated though it may be, seems to be notable, based on the sources cited. The article might need substantial clean-up: removal of sources that do not mention the theory, addition of

Please pay special attention to the 1RR restriction. Part of the intent of that restriction that was to prevent what you did at glyphosate by trying to edit war back in content when initially challenged instead of gaining consensus for it. Now that you are aware of it, I highly suggest undoing the revert.
