I just critized the classification of Vladimir the Great as an Ukrainian, this has nothing to do POV. Serious Historians reject the Thesis that Vladimir the Great was an Ukrainian. The Kievan Rus was not an Ukrainian State, it was a State of Eastern Slavs.--Anders Rodger (talk) 08:30, 17 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've now understood the issue you're raising. I have a serious problem with the use of image galleries in the infobox, as do a large number of other editors. The gallery is a
WP:CONSENSUS decision which I didn't partake in (see the talk pages for Romanians and Russians where we've established consensus for getting rid of the galleries). Feel free to take a look at the Italians
article where 'Italian' is applied retrospectively to Renaissance Florentines, etc. There are a lot of articles about ethnic groups that are redundant and misleading.
I'll restore your comment regarding Bandera in a couple of days and resume discussions with admins who would also like to do away with those galleries. Unfortunately, I have the flu and am not up to it at the moment. I'll let you know when I've started a community-based discussion. Happy editing until then! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 23:44, 19 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
