Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Michigan State Prison. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. John from Idegon (talk) 00:19, 10 November 2018 (UTC)
- I added the reliable source as you directed. Parenthetically, this kind of thing is Exhibit A of why I'm far less active on Wikipedia than at other WMF sites. If you people want to know why you've got an editor retention crisis on your hands, look no further than pettiness and newbie-biting like this. "Disruptive editing"... pfft. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 00:33, 10 November 2018 (UTC)

Knox Farm State Park
Andre, your new picture on Knox Farm State Park is nice. It would have been better if you could have also found a place on the page to leave the old photo. Just a suggestion. BuffaloBob (talk) 02:15, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
- IMO, a <5KB stub article doesn't benefit from including two photographs that depict basically the same thing. -- AndreCarrotflower (talk) 02:56, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Delaware Avenue Historic District
First: you take amazing pictures of Buffalo buildings - I look forward to seeing more now that good weather is coming again! Second: I understand why you removed the photos/buildings from Delaware Avenue Historic District (Buffalo, New York) page -- I knew when I was adding them that they probably belonged elsewhere but wasn't sure of the exact parameters of the district vs. the buildings. So just a quick note to say thanks for keeping the page tight and accurate! DACC23 (talk) 17:47, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
- @DACC23: Thank you for the compliment! Photography is definitely a hobby that I've been rediscovering during these pandemic times, and I'm always glad to see my work get used for purposes other than my own pleasure. commons:Category:Photos taken by Andre Carrotflower in Buffalo, New York is where you'll find the full compendium, in case it's of use to you in your future work.
- And kudos are also in order for your impressive work on the Delaware Avenue Historic District-related articles. I'm glad I was able to help clarify things with my contributions. As I'm sure you know, most of the buildings in that general area of Buffalo are impressive and historic, and the geographical breakdown of which buildings belong to which district is not always intuitive for the observer on the ground. The "Buffalo as an Architectural Museum" website, which I see you're already aware of, has pages clarifying the boundaries of each of the city's locally- and NRHP-listed historic districts. Another resource is the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation's CRIS database, which includes not only the nomination documents for every NRHP-listed property in the state, but also inventory forms for many non-listed properties too, and all kinds of other valuable information. It requires registration, but it's free of charge. Let me know if you need me to dig up any information, I'd be happy to help.

Knox Farm State Park Photo
Andre, user:Aidanmcl posted some new photos on the page Knox Farm State Park. In doing so, he removed your photo, which is far better in my opinion. My first thought was to revert it, but then I though it best to discuss with you. How would you prefer to proceed? BuffaloBob (talk) 17:22, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
