IJBall, I see [1] which is echoed on TV Insider. That's got her birthplace but a paragraph-sized profile of what she's been in. I'm hoping there are some more detailed articles though. Here's a profile from See Jane / Geena Davis Institute [2] This article on AV Club is headlined how she and othe cast members are already stars [3] Lots of "meet the cast" articles from mainstream media though. Here's one from Columbus Dispatch about her career with Madison Hu on Bizaardvark [4] (same article at Fresno Bee [5] ) Here's one for Paved New World in J-14 magazine [6] and Variety [7] She in a ton of Just Jared Jr. blog articles, although that's not that good a source. I think one good profile piece or interview (from a decent-quality source) would get this one over the hump. But I've yet to find one that I really think does it (this LA Times piece makes some mention of her, but still not in enough detail)... Hey, please be careful with Starklinson and their edits (FTR, I'm not the only one who has problems with this editor) – IMO, this is an editor that is more interested in getting articles into Mainspace than they are with writing good quality articles that are well-sourced. There is also promotional verbiage in the lead: "The estimation of water use by vegetation is crucial for conserving water, managing Irrigation, acquiring water right information, and crop production.[3][12] Farmers need these information for accurately applying water to crops for optimum yield." Other lines / bullet points read like they are advocating the advantages or using this model over others. This needs to be rewritten neutrally. Thanks for your (very rapid) reviews of the page I'm proposing. The turnaround is appreciated.

This is an important page to get on Wikipedia. The phrase passes the criteria notability, verifiability, and reliability of sources. It's an important concept and it should be documented. I am at a bit of a loss to know where to go with it. As far as I can see I have set the context clearly (it's a pedagogic concept, particularly important in educational policy areas such as inclusion, and used in the fields of intellectual disability and communication disorder). I've described the contept in an encyclopic way (neutral, reling on reliable secondary sources), saying what it is and illustrating its meaning with an example. I'm not sure waht else I can do. Sure I could write more (way more) but some entries surely need to be terse and to the point (I don't see what a history of its coining adds to the understanding of what it is). And I've never seen a journal abstract looking like this draft (maybe in terms of length, but not in terms of content) - so I'm rally not sure in what way it looks like a journal abstract. So I'd very much appreciate figuring out how to get this moving in a way that enables a terse, informative entry to find its place in wikipedia.

Iorek100, here's a blog writeup where someone tries to explain LDA. [14] Note how it includes the origins of the phrase. "Over 30 years ago, special educator Anne McDonnellan coined this phrase by stating that in the “absence of conclusive data, educational decisions ought to be based on assumptions which, if incorrect, will have the least dangerous effect on the likelihood that students will be able to functional independently as adults.”" Here's another blog writeup [15] that mentions 1984 as origin. And one from Oilbean [16] So it should explain what LDA is and then how it's been popularized and widely used since then. Thanks for looking at and reviewing my article on Injury Reserve's self titled album so quickly after I submitted it.

You mentioned that I should add more in the critical reception section, which I did. However, you also mentioned that I should put where it charted. As far as I know, the album didn't chart anywhere, as it doesn't show up on Billboard's website (they also track the non-US charts). I believe that the album is still noteworthy and deserves an article though.

If you think it's okay for me to submit the article anyway, then I'll do that. If otherwise, let me know and I'll see if I can fix the problem.

AngusWOOF, I've looked at the journalists in question and they all seem to be from reputable, music-specific publications, so hopefully that is fine.

I wanted to ask about the album cover: I uploaded an image of the album cover to Wikimedia Commons and put it on the draft article, but the image was removed from the draft (as 'non free images are not allowed except on articles'), and now the image itself has been removed from wikimedia commons. Do you know what I can do about this - can I submit the article and add the image later, or is there some other way I can resolve this? Thanks for your help.

I had previously submitted the article which was declined as a placeholder. Joseph is a complicated individual because his satire is often not connected to his birthname. Some of his satire is spread across non-reliable sources such as third party blogs and the like, created by others. I am working to chronicle what we have as far as what we KNOW is Joseph, but not connected by name to him. I believe the resubmitted article is enough to get submitted to the article page, and I can continue to work on the edits thereafter. The cited sources are news, court filings, federal agency documents etc. I removed much unsourced details for the time being and kept it pretty basic as I have seen on other entries. Thanks for informing me of the problems of my draft article. There are a few things I would like to ask as a maths pro (my username translates to "Lord of Math"):

• Firstly, the draft I wrote was intended for mathematicians, the object in question itself is intrinsically technical and laypeople is unlikely to come across this term from normal math books. So do I still need to provide (at least some) explanation for some terms? Because I wrote this draft based on the style of Lagrange number.
• Besides,
  Markov constant and Markov spectrum are actually different types of things - a sequence of integers, a function on numbers and a set of real numbers respectively - so I think it is quite easy to distinguish between the three. The plot might need a second editor's review, some peer editing, to make sure it doesn't sound too clunky. To be honest, if it reads clumsily, that because the film's script is rather clunky, so I think I did the best that I could with the plot, films from Neil Breen tend to be confusing or random. Also I'm guessing what you mean from the tag is maybe scrap a review of the film? Or at the very least cut large chunks out of it? AngusWOOF, you were the most recent editor of the subject article (November 16, 2019). I am so confused, I don't quite know where to begin. But let's get started.

To begin with there are two articles that are similar but different. So distinguishing between them: the first is the original article published by Wikipedia in the spring of 2012 entitled "Datar-Mathews method for real option valuation." The second is an minor revision of the original article plus extensive (3 sections) of additional materials containing formulas, graphs and images. The second article I submitted to Wikipedia as a Draft version on or about November 15, 2019. That second article represents about 6 months of work including external reviews by SMEs. Somehow all that new material is gone (deleted?) and replaced by a reproduction of the original article and accompanied by various alerts and warnings.

I don't know what happened. I was attempting to follow Wikipedia protocol in submitting a Draft clearly showing the new material for review by your editors. The imagined the review would correct any formatting errors and perhaps address the table/image sizes and positions within the article. Instead, the new material has entirely disappeared -- and replaced with the original article, but now with alerts and warnings. Here is what I propose:

1. Please recover the entirety of the second article including formulas, graphs and images along with the formatting I had used. 2. Help me correctly format the content of the second article. 3. If there is concern about COI, then of course I will answer any and all questions. However, I assure you there is no COI. 4. Finally, place me in contact with a person or persons with whom I can expeditiously resolve all these issues.

First, thank you for referring the COI issue to COIN. Now let's move on and address the next alert: this article may be "too technical for most readers".

1. The original article (from 2012) was published and no "too technical" alert has ever been raised.
2. The extension (to the original article) that I wrote (and submitted in November 2019) was created in order to help readers better understand the underlying concepts of real options, in particular the Datar-Mathews method, but the real options topic in general. Several subcategories in the article (Data patterns, DM Range Option) are intended to ease the burden of exacting calculations required for typical option valuation. The subcategory DM Option - Algebraic form in particular is intended to reduce the complexity of the related Black-Scholes option valuation, allowing more known variables such as standard deviation to be substituted for the more exotic "volatility factor", the latter of which is not available in business situations.
3. The Black-Scholes model (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-Scholes_model) and Black-Scholes equation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-Scholes_equation) are closely related but different from the DM Method. First the Black-Scholes model is intended for option valuation for financial traders, while the DM Method is intended for real option valuation used in business situations. These two methods are somewhat closely related but sufficiently different and sometimes require alternate variables. Furthermore, the Black-Scholes websites are much more complex than that of the DM Method. In fact the original intention of the DM Method article was to put forward a yet simpler implementation of the Black-Scholes formula that would be accessible to a much wider field of general practitioners in business applications (not financial traders).
4. In creating this extension, I relied on (and referenced) the mathematics and methods for Wikipedia sites such as Lognormal distribution (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Log-normal_distribution), Triangular distribution (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triangular_distribution), and Conditional Expectation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conditional_expectation) are equally if not more complex, and are particularly aimed to specialists in this field.
5. This DM Method article (the original and the extension) are not to complex for practitioners in this field. In fact, I would argue that is more readable, more easily implemented than alternate real option valuations such as the Black-Scholes. This alert "too technical" should be removed.

He wrote comprehensive review articles on his field of expertise which were cited more than 300 times^[1][2] and selected as "Highly Cited Papers" by Web of Science (which describes them as papers which "received enough citations to place it in the top 1% of the academic field of Chemistry based on a highly cited threshold for the field and publication year".

• 2- The person has received a highly prestigious academic award or honor at a national or international level.

Pedro Góis received several awards and I would like to highlight the nomination in 2014 as a Emerging Investigator by

He was vice-president of the organic division of the Portuguese Chemical Society. While I believe that this alone might not be enough to justify his notority, I also believe that, when considered together with all the aforementioned facts, he is worthy of having an article on wikipedia.

Jpantonio, Emerging Investigator isn't clear a honor as some of the other ones used for academics. Are there other ones? Also you are referring to articles in other language Wikipedias instead of in English Wikipedia. TheFallenPower, it's close but it needs more secondary news sources that give her some detail. Some of the other sources are okay only as proof that she participated in the show (Stranger Things), and not much else. The L'Officiel one is a Q&A interview so that counts as a primary source, but the good thing is that it does show external media sources are covering her career. My submission for 'Cape God'

Hi!

I recently submitted an article for Allie X's upcoming studio album, Cape God for review. After reviewing it, you declined this submission and gave the following comments:

"Too much reliance on self-published social media, needs more external news sources to review the album."

"Please minimize references to Tweets, replace with interviews or secondary source coverage. Remove Spotify references."

Now, I'll start by saying that I can try to look for secondary sources, however, there might not be much. So far, I found Allie's official Twitter page to be the best source for information about the album, especially its lyrical themes (she always discussed them in a tweet / thread after a single's release). Secondly, you finished your second comment by saying "Remove Spotify references". I use Spotify as my main music service and it allows me to see a song's credits (which is where I got the information from). You seem to be OK with the Apple Music references, however, since I don't use that service, I don't know if a way of seeing credits is possible without having to sign up. If you use Apple Music, could you tell me if there's a way to do that? If there isn't, could you explain why I should remove the Spotify references?

EnjoyingMyProblems, the credits themselves can eventually be cited by the album itself so they don't need to be individually cited to itunes/spotify. Alternatively you can just add a "Source: spotify/itunes (ref)" in the track list header, and have an embedded note to Spotify. As for the Tweets, it would be preferred to have her discuss her album in an interview from secondary source instead of overwhelming the references with self-published Tweets. EnjoyingMyProblems, yes, that would be helpful. If she has been talking about her album in interviews, those would work better for beefing up her background. I did notice she had a large screen capture posted on the tweet so maybe it's coming from another source, perhaps her website. OK, I started looking for some secondary sources for information on the album and I came across an AMA she did on Reddit on the subreddit r/popheads. I think she confirmed that it's an official AMA on her Twitter account (won't use that as a source). Do you think it's a good idea to use some information from that thread? EnjoyingMyProblems, AMA sessions are still Q&A direct self-published sources, so while that would beef up some of the background for the album, it's more important that the album show notability on its own, from the critical reviews and charting. Other evidence of national level interest are the multiple articles covering its development and productions in playbill.com and broadwayworld.com (I can get links later)

It also had a production in New York City at the museum of natural history, which I mention in the article, though I wasn't able to find professional critic's reviews. I disagree with your remark that "Wikipedia isn't a catalog / promotions tracker like that." It's the same type as lists for Xbox Games with Gold and Playstation Plus Instant Game Collection games:

The list for Epic Games Store gets requested a lot, and there's no permanent and public record of it.

Kj cheetham, the Atlanta one is like 2/3 Q&A so it would be considered primary, so it doesn't say much about her career other than that she became a story producer at Pop-Up. It doesn't go into her past and such. Food and Wine's a little better. It focuses on her work with SFA / Gravy podcasts and mentions her school background briefly. It also lists her age. The Gazette one doesn't detail her life as much as it could, but it makes the Gravy part more notable, and that section should be built up and mentioned in the lead paragraph along with Pop-Up and other major work. Kj cheetham, the sections need more detail, like what specifically does Gravy cover? What is the format of the podcast? What is the feedback for the show. Same with the others. Was there a particular episode she was noted for producing / reception for that? The authoring of the book can also be expanded with critical reception. Sir, I have contributed to the article "Mahatma Gandhi Central University protest using my username "Rohitmishra001". But the article was deleted due to copy right issue. Now, I am unable to login using the above mentioned username and getting notification "login token is expired". Thaat's why, I created the same article using my other username "Rohitmishra01" in my own words removing all the copied text from other sources, yesterday intially it was accepted for article for creation after few hours it was declined by mentioning "Article is not written in neutral point of view". Both usernames are of mine. I used the second username to create the page when I was unable to login using my first username. So, could you please help me out ? Thanking you.

Sir, I request you to go through the link/reference which I have given. If you found anything non-neutral or biased please tell me the way to delete the page. The whole India knows about the "Mahatma Gandhi Central University protest" and why it was happened. Earlier I created the same article using my other username and fortunately it was accepted for the article for creation but some unknown users copied text from references and added in the article that's why the article was deleted due to copy right issue. I didn't get enough time to fix it and afterwards I was unable to login using the same username. I created new username to write the article again and this time I removed everything that was copied and write it in own words. It was declined by mentioning" article needs to be scrubbed". It took almost 3 months to collect the information and references to write the article. If you want to get information about previous same article. I'd love to share it to you. As we know Wikipedia has always been playing a vital role in letting world know about the important things across the globe. Hope this time Wikipedia will include one of the India's largest public universities protest to it's space so the whole world may know about it. Therefore,you are requested to go through any link/ reference if you still found anything non-neutral please let me know the way to delete this article forever. Please tell me the way to delete this draft article. "331dot" has sent the previous text as baseline which was accepted as the article for creation, earlier. So, the article would be rewritten in a neutral way. Neutral editor will scrub the article so that it would be published. They will rewrite / unbias the article. Rohitmishra01, I see that 331dot deleted the article in the mainspace because it had copyright violations, and then emailed you an earlier reference article. But according to 331dot's talk page, you are requesting that so that YOU can rewrite the article. That's not a neutral editor. Who are you getting to scrub the article? Hello AngusWoof,

We are a Public Relations agency that represents actors/actresses. This gentleman created a Wikipedia page for himself and falsified shows/movies that he worked on that he did not. I edited the page to remove the inaccurate details, but he keeps undoing my edits. None of the sources he has provided proves that his information is valid. Please advise how to fix this so he cannot keep adding false information/information without a source, which goes against the guidelines of Wikipedia.

TPRINC, If it's unsourced or poorly sourced (goodreads, IMDb), you can delete it, but ensure in your comments that this is the correction you are doing. If it's decently sourced, as with The Black Dahlia entry https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0VKRC82Jim0 that shows him as Executive Producer credit, you can leave those parts alone. He posted the trailer on his personal Youtube channel and his name is nowhere in the trailer. He simply added his name in the description of the video.

You can try a discussion at the talk page. If he reverts too many times, we can warn him for edit warring / vandalism. As an aside, Is there a better source for the Miami Vice and other show credits? I don't see his name in the closing credits for the show episodes, so I need a source to confirm his crew role as a Marine Director or Marine Coordinator.
