Failed nomination and future project

Hey Aoba, sorry for not coming by earlier. I just wanted to let you know that I'm sorry you became disheartened with Severine's article, I know first-hand how terrible it feels to work very hard on an article and be made to feel like people are either indifferent to your hard work or trying to break it down. I guess I just wanted to let you know that I'm well aware of how much work you put on this site and how much you've improved numerous articles. I also wanted to tell you that I appreciate the help you have provided with some of the articles I've worked on and that I'm always keeping an eye out for your latest masterpiece. <3

  • I am glad that you are liking it so far! It is a very difficult topic to write about so I am taking my time with it. I am assuming that they are keeping the focus on the main cast from the television show, but she actually makes a brief appearance in Season Ten in the issue In Pieces on the Ground, Part One. I would love for her to make more appearances, but I have feeling that the Buffy comics may be coming to an end in the near future.

Family Trade

I don't know why I'm so obsessed with and fascinated by this show; maybe it's due to my affinity for Pawn Stars, and I really think it would have done better had it been on History rather than GSN. Satsu (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and GAN

Aoba47, when the article was tagged with "lead too long", I think what may have been meant was that according to

MOS:LEADLENGTH
, an article of about 13K prose characters should have a lead of one or two paragraphs. Between 15K and 30K, the number goes to two or three paragraphs, and the lead is currently three paragraphs.

Just be aware that this may come up during any GA review; perhaps there is a way to apportion the lead so its contents are in two rather than three paragraphs, or perhaps you can make the argument that, since this is almost 15K, a third paragraph is warranted despite the MOS guideline (especially if they are not long paragraphs). Hello: The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Satsu (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has been completed.

I want to draw your attention to this sentence:

"Jeanty described the Japanese street fashion magazine as "full of photographs of Asian kids dressed in all funky way."

Because the wording in the quote seems odd I checked both sources to see if it had been transcribed incorrectly. I may have missed it, but I could not find this quote in either of them. You might want to check this. If he did actually say this you should put (sic) immediately after the final quotation mark.

Nature of a Sista'

No worries. I've a question - in the list of recording studios used in the second paragraph of "Background and recording", I found "Quadraphinc Studios, Quadraphonic Studios". Are these the same studio, or two different ones with very similar names? Cheers,

Thanks for your reply Aoba47; I was going to remove "Quadraphinic" as a spelling error, but thought I should check. When I restart the c/e I'll add a hidden note for other editors to that effect. Cheers,
