No, these were unsourced sections. Aticle is very poorly sourced. See article talk page. Atneyak (talk) 15:57, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pulling redlinks

If you have any interest in clearing out non-notable list entries, please have a look at List of Native American artists. It's a complete disaster. -Uyvsdi (talk) 23:10, 28 November 2010 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]

Sorry, I don't fully understand the question: "But can you tell me how to justify it given it's just a list of people who are listed somewhere as native american artists?" Everyone on the list should be verifiably Native American (within the US); it they aren't Native or are from another country, they would get pulled. Determining notability would include writings about the artist, did they make major innovations/win major awards, are they in major collections? Plenty of these people, like Susan Billy for instance, are written about and are notable but no one has bothered to write an article about her - so personally I would pull her listing. There's a lot of directories of Native American artists that list hundreds to thousands of artists, so inclusion wouldn't really establish notability. -Uyvsdi (talk) 01:55, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Uyvsdi[reply]
