]Payua
Hi, you used the word payua in Santiago Atitlán, Oaxaca here in 2010 and it is coming up on a typo list. Please could you check and correct it, if possible? (I know the edit was 15 years ago.) TSventon (talk) 22:31, 29 June 2025 (UTC)
- The cited source is now a redlink, but I have changed it to papaya, which grows in many parts of Oaxaco. Aymatth2 (talk) 17:01, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you. For what it is worth, I have added an archived version of the url and it does say payua. TSventon (talk) 17:46, 30 June 2025 (UTC)
- I am sure "payua" is a typo in the source. When I started the article I would have guessed it was an obscure fruit with no English name. I now live in Costa Rica, where the fruits are much the same. There is no payua, but papaya is very common. I am sure that is what the article should say. Aymatth2 (talk) 08:22, 1 July 2025 (UTC)
