No, articles still need citations to be encyclopedic. You're correct that a personal letter cannot be cited - and all I'm asking for on the Bollier one is some evidence that the man exists as a physician in a published article. The responsibility falls to you to provide this - I have searched medical boards in the U.S. and Canada. With regards to the journal, I am highly knowledgeable about the publishing field and while, if this person exists (again, I have yet to see any proof of this), even if he is the next designated editor, until he officially takes over according to the journal, the previous editor is the editor. Right now what you are providing basically original research, which is not allowed according to the wikipedia policy - see
regarding Thomas Bollier
Although I don't like your user-credo (it is decidedly un-wiki), I see no harm in providing a copy of the deleted article which you may find
- Hmmm, the point in undeleting wasn't that you should recreate the article on the spot; perhaps a little help can come from this here.
