Pacinian corpuscle

Hello Biswas a - re your comments on recent edits - knowledgeable edits are of course always welcome and your points are interesting. You mentioned having references used in your thesis and I wondered if it was possible for you to add these to your edits? My own knowledge of the subject is quite superficial. Best --Iztwoz (talk) 10:01, 28 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Iztwoz,

I shall do my best to add those primary references. It needs some time from my side. Also I shall request my research students who are working in this area to improve that page further.

Thanks.

Wikipedia's "conflict of interest" guideline, and other related issues

If you are connected to someone or something you have written about (a few examples are writing about yourself, your business, your band, a member of your family, your client) then you should be aware that Wikipedia's

conflict of interest guideline discourages you from writing about that subject. The main reason for that is that experience over the years indicates that editors with such a connection to a subject they are writing about are likely to find it very difficult, or even impossible, to stand back from their writing and see how it will look from the detached perspective of an outsider, so that they are likely to write in ways that look promotional to others, even if they sincerely think they are writing in a neutral way. Also, if your editing forms all or part of work for which you are paid, whether as an employee, as a contractor, or in any other capacity, the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use require you to state who is paying you, and what your connection to them is. (To avoid the possibility of a surprisingly common misunderstanding, editing is part of paid work if it is done as part of normal employment or as part of a work to a contract, whether or not a specific payment earmarked for editing Wikipedia is made.)JBW (talk) 09:40, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply

Hi JBW, I agree with this point of view of Wikipedia. Only point is that there was a page created long back (in 2007) which is now deleted. I just wanted to address the issues for which it was deleted. I have not seen this page before 2020 July, the time I joined CPDM. As I am now involved this organization, I think someone else outside from this organization should take the responsibility of restoring the page. Hope Wikipedia reviewers will apply this policy across all the pages and I completely support that. Thanks for clarifying this. Biswas a (talk)

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Tamingimpala was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: Rejecting as the re-submission is persistent despite the previous declinations.
