I live in mainland China. As Wikipedia is blocked here, I have to use a VPN to access and edit Wikipedia, but my IPBE has expired, which made me unable to edit. I followed the instructions on Wikipedia:IP block exemption#Used for anonymous proxy editing and sent an email to checkuser-en-wpwikipedia.org, but no reply for almost a month... Hi, Black. Nice to hear you again. The two sources are actually just two lists of the episode's staff, including "Storyboard: Hideaki Anno, Masayuki". That's it. "Assisted him" thus simply refers to the storyboards themselves per sé, as the storyboards help animators and directors. There's no other meaning. I'm not a native English speaker.
