Rattray

Not sure why you marked this for deletion - do you know his work?

I rate him as VERY important!

Why do you go around marking everything for deletion but dont explain a thing under the discussion page? Of course theres going to be little info on the page 2 SECONDS AFTER ITS CREATED! you have to wait a few seconds before you call things spam. Pages take a bit of time to become very relevant and they cant make it to relevancy if theyre marked for deletion the instant theyre created. —Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Patrick7286 (talkcontribs)

Userboxes

I have edited per Userbox migration. For that Smash Bros. character userbox, the argument had to be changed so that it would say "This user thinks the best Smash Bros. character is Samus Aran", instead of "This user thinks the best Smash Bros. character is {{{2}}}." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tedius Zanarukando (talkcontribs)

Hi, I removed your undated comment from last July in the article Richard Woolsey, "Woolsey will appear in several more episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis this season." You may want to go back and add more to the article now. Regards, Fayenatic london (talk) 22:51, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Move to Wikibooks?

The article's tone (advisory) and the direction it looks like it might take (extermely exhaustive) made me feel that it might not be appropriate for Wikipedia. But the work was actually good, and informative. I thought Wikibooks might be a good home for the information since the standards and objectives there are different, and more consultation like. With more development, it could become something along the lines of this featured wikibook: How To Assemble A Desktop PC. I'm always open to differing opinions, but I still feel like it was a reasonable proposal.--Esprit15d (talk ¤ contribs) 20:18, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll remove the tag, and just change to something about tone, since that is probably the biggest red flag.--Esprit15d (talk ¤ contribs) 20:28, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

test2

Thank you for blanketly reverting the page

Fallacy of many questions on Wikipedia. Your attempt to ensure the article retains off-colour humor and borderline homophobia (as well as an unsourced statement) was successful, and I'm now powerless to do anything about it or I'll get tarred as a vandal and sockpuppet etc. etc. etc. Please continue using minor edits by anonymous editors for any further boosts to your edit-count you may want to do. Take a look at any given "real" encyclopedia to see a discernible lack of gay jokes, yet ignore this fact when continuing to edit Wikipedia. --209.222.52.99 21:07, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply

Kappa Kappa Psi

Hello, and

welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Kappa Kappa Psi article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted
text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

Feel free to re-submit a new version of the article. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. Pagrashtak 05:03, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello BrotherFlounder, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as

GFDL license or released to the public domain. Please note that it is possible that the image on your page is included vie a template or usebox. Honorary Brothers - Kappa Kappa Psi

I was wondering about whether or not Chuck Norris is an honorary brother as well. However, after poking around for a bit I've come to find that it is actually possible he is an honorary of the Gamma chapter at Washington State. I'm currently looking into this with a brother from the chapter and I wanted you to know. I'll keep you posted on the status of my inquiries and, if he is in fact an honorary brother and I find it is verifiable I will post a message for you before I change the KKPsi page. AEA Fliry Vorru 03:10, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As it were, Dave Chapelle was voted in by Central State but they never sent in the paperwork AND they didn't put him through what they needed to put him through, if you catch my drift. His was a problem of a lack of follow through. The thing about the national website is that the site is outsourced to some guy and it takes them longer than it should to update it. Not to mention, the "Prominent Members" page hasn't been updated in a while and is updated whenever the guide to membership is. Robert W. Smith is on the list of Prominent Members on Wikipedia but he's not on the list on the national website. Yet because we have paper conformation that he is a legitimate brother it's all good. I'm just saying that we shouldn't be limited by the national website if there are other ways to confirm if people are honorary. That's the entire reason we have the "other sources needed" box at the top of the page. Fliry Vorru 16:30, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chuck Norris is on the official national roster as an honorary and was initiated in the Spring of 2006 by the Gamma chapter at Washington State University. I got in contact with the actual brother who changed the page originally and I saw a picture of the shingle for confirmation. I'm adding him back to the Prominent Members portion of the KKPsi page. If you need any other kind of confirmation just email Dixie at headquarters. AEA Fliry Vorru 21:41, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
