Ste. Genevieve, Missouri Article Assessment Request
I noticed that you submitted an assessment request for the Ste. Genevieve, Missouri article on the WikiProject Missouri request list back in April, 2010, and was wondering if you still believe the article needs re-assessment. --TommyBoy (talk) 20:56, 27 July 2011 (UTC) Thanks. I think it already has been assessed. Chouchin11 (talk) 16:15, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

The article Jean Ferdinand Rozier has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Article is an unsourced biographical/genealogical description of a French businessman. There's no evidence he's notablefor anything. It almost warrants speedy deletion.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sionk (talk) 23:00, 10 September 2013 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for September 29
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kal David, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page King Records. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

UCSF project
Hi! I am currently revamping the UCSF project. I created lots of pages and added a lot of content, but there is so much still to do. I saw that you are part of the SFBA task force, so I thought you might be interested and I wanted to invite you to collaborate once more. In particular, we need to add content, do maintenance, and we really would benefit from pictures, so if you are in SF and could help that would be great. Thanks!Eccekevin (talk) 15:08, 26 July 2017 (UTC)

There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
King's Ball
Thanks for creating the King's Ball article. A note at the bottom says "Article edited from the Ste. Genevieve Herald newspaper." I assume that you used that newspaper as a source. If so, you should include a full bibliographic reference (including year, day, and page number). If you used some of that article verbatim, those sections should be in quotation marks and footnoted. Otherwise, we may be forced to remove the text entirely. Thanks, --Macrakis (talk) 15:31, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

2019 US Banknote Contest

US Banknote Contest | ![]() |
---|---|---|
November-December 2019 | ||
There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions |
