Re: Thanks: The best advice I can give you about editing is to check the

WP:Tutorial, and to test edits in your own or the public sandbox before publishing them in the public article space. I don't know of any wiki "meta-editors" that will allow you to bypass the wiki markup stuff, other than the control buttons at the top of the edit box.
